Gaming Longboarding Scale Models

I am a Brazilian born Designer based in London Ontario. Throught out my life I had the opportunity to live and visit different parts of Brazil and the world spending some time in Hong Kong and Shanghai before moving to Canada in 2006.

Since then I have Graduated from Fanshawe College Graphic Design Program in August of 2011. Three weeks after graduation I had the opportunity to intern at Vivid Creative under the direction of Richard Stone where I spent 9 months producing a variety of different pieces for great clients. During that time I was able to learn and experience various aspects of the business including customer relations, creative direction, production and conceptual sketching. I found my specialties to be corporate branding and print design but I also love to design for web and devices.

I work extremely well under pressure and time constraints and I absolutely love what I do. Creating new and awesome things is what drives me every day in both my profession and my hobbies. I am an avid gamer and modder, spending countless hours building and experimenting with games and hardware. I love building faithful scale replicas of planes and armored vehicles and for my adrenaline rush I enjoy bombing down hills on my longboard.

Client Meeting

The first and often most important step of any creative work I do. I love meeting with newclients and listening to their ideas and personality. My job is to balance what the client's personality and wants with the expectations of the target market to ultimately produce beautiful designs that please the client and ultimately sell the product.


Research

After a wonderful client meeting the next step is to start researching and learning as much as possible about the business. At this stage I look at what the client offers and what competitive advantages the product has. A good understanding of the target market and the competition is also important in deciding how to position the product on the market and how to make the designs most appealing to customers.


Conceptual Sketches

This is certainly my favourite part of any project I have worked on, the conceptual phase. Here I can play around with ideas, concepts and designs freely in order to solve the design problem ahead of me. I strongly believe in using the old school pencil and paper for this task since it is the fastest conduit between my creativity and the real world. Input from customers is also extremely important during this early stage of production.


Production

This is where all the above steps come togheter and transform into something beautiful. With the magic of computers and programs like Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver and Illustrator I bring these ideas to life no matter what they might be or what medium they will be presented in. I am always on time with the delivery of any project and that is my guarantee!
